On the influence of amezinium on various vascular regions of the dog.

1983
Abstract The action of amezinium is mediated by endogenous noradrenaline, and owing to the varying density of adrenergic neurons in the vascular system amezinium contracts predominantly vascular sections which are densely innervated. Hence, amezinium apparently displays an effect only in those regions where circulatory regulation is effected by local release of noradrenaline.
