Experience: AIA National Architecture Conference 2012

The most fundamental architectural question is ‘how should we build, in this place, at this time?’ Co-directors Rayner, Thompson and Skinner designed the profession’s major annual event to posit important issues and values underpinning a distinctive Queensland architecture that we argued had been overlooked or undervalued in ‘national’ conferences held exclusively in Sydney and Melbourne for more than a decade.
