Transfer of Classical Tools to the LIP Context

Abstract This chapter is dedicated to the transfer of some classical tools to the logarithmic image processing context. We decided to first concentrate our attention on segmentation algorithms, which constitute a crucial step in image interpretation. A special focus is given to hierarchical ascendant classification methods, and we propose an original approach based on gravitational clustering . Other subjects are studied in combination with wavelets, percolation, Top-Hat, etc.
