Method for measuring the coordinates of three projectiles simultaneously based on laser detection

In order to solve the problem of measuring the coordinates of two or even three projectiles at the same time when testing high rate of fire barrel weapons, a laser detection array-based three projectiles simultaneous target recognition method was proposed. First, a mathematical model of system measurement is established, and then a principle experiment is designed and carried out to verify the feasibility of the proposed method. Experimental results show that this method can realize the identification of three projectiles with a target range ≥5.04mm simultaneously. The maximum measurement error of the landing coordinate of the system in the x direction is 3.9mm, and the measurement error of the landing coordinate in the y direction is 3.2mm. Therefore, the proposed method is scientific and feasible.
