Insecticidal Activity of 204 Plants to Mythimna separata in the Qinling Mountains

The bioactivities of the acetone extracts of pesticidal plants collected from the Qinling m ountains were screened with Mythimna separata in the laboratory. The results showed that 87 species of them present more than 50% bioactivities to the test insects, of which 21 species from Compositae, 7 species from Rosaceae and 5 species from Ranunculanceae. It has been proved that 6 species over which included Carpesium abrotanoides, Carpesium cernuum and Celastrus orbiculatus etc. were worth developing.
