La representación de la violencia de género en la prensa gráfica

This paper analyzes the characteristics of journalistic representation by the written press in relation to cases of gender violence. We start from the premise that the media are fundamental actors in the construction of social reality and that its production is never innocent, since it is influenced by interests of various kinds. In order to provide an analysis of gender issues in relation to the media, we will investigate its antecedents and proceed to the formulation of proposals for a theme that, although it has been approached on several occasions, still presents various possibilities of studies
