[3 + 2] Cycloaddition reactions of ethyl (Z)-3-fluoropropenoate with nitrones

Abstract Ethyl ( Z )-2-fluoropropenoate reacts stereospecifically and regioselectively in [3 + 2] cycloadditions with aryl N-methylnitrones. The yields of the cycloaddition products range from 61 to 70%.
