El S.I.G. geológico de Cataluña

In this paper will be presented an overview about data bases, geological GIS applications and guidelines used to build alpha-graphic data bases carried out by the lnstitut Cartografic de Catalunya (I.C.C) in the last years. Some projects and applications will also be introduced.
