Design of the Human Surface Electromyogra Signal Acquisition System and Signal Analysis

2020
Surface electromyography (EMG) is a comprehensive effect of superficial muscle EMG and nerve trunk electrical activity on skin surface. Compared with needle electrode EMG, SEMG has the advantages of non-invasive, non-invasive, simple operation and so on. Therefore, SEMG has important practical value in clinical medicine, ergonomics, rehabilitation medicine and sports science. This paper presents a device for collecting EMG signals on human body surface, which consists of five parts: signal acquisition system, amplification and filtering circuit, power supply module, A/D conversion module and display module. The system was used to detect the EMG signals of flexor carpi ulnaris, extensor digitorum, flexor carpi radialis and brachioradialis before and after four kinds of fine wrist movements (wrist extension, wrist flexion, wrist internal rotation and wrist external rotation). By analyzing the spectrum characteristics of the collected EMG signals, the practicability of the EMG signal acquisition system is verified.
