Investigation on strength properties of Self compacting concrete with hybrid-fibre Mohan

2020
Self compacting concrete (SCC) is presently a developing procedure in the field of concreteinnovation. SCC is an inventive plan to handle the issue of cementing through thick reinforcement.SCC is novel, due to its properties, similar to fill capacity, stream capacity, pump capacity, andmake creation of concrete more industrialized. The utilization cementations its material like fly ashmakes the concrete practical. It become important to build up a compaction free creation systemconsequently decreasing the general expense of the venture; improve the nature of work, and givingwellbeing in workplace. The expansion of filaments into the concrete has been found to improve afew of its properties like tensile strength, cracking resistance, impact, ductility, wear and tear etc.Inthe present study an experimental investigation was conducted on M35 grade self compactingconcrete by using steel fibres and corn husk fibres. The percentage of steel fibres and corn fibersused in the proportion like 0%SF+0%CHF, 1%SF+0%CHF, 0.5%SF+0.25%CHF,0.75%SF+0.5%CHF, 1%SF+0.5%CHF. The results like compressive strength, tensile strength andflexural strength values are studied along with this strength values durability is also studied for M35self compacting concrete
