METHODISCHER LEITFADEN ZUR PROZESSORIENTIERTEN BEARBEITUNG VON MASSENBEWEGUNGEN

2008
In the course of a multidisciplinary research project, several case studies on fossil and active rock slope failures were investigated in the Tyrol, Austria. The findings and conclusions made were included in a guideline on process-oriented analyses of landslides. This guideline encompasses a wide spectrum of methodical approaches comprising in-situ investigations, stability analyses, monitoring and numerical modelling methods as well as an array of theoretical principles focusing on kinematics, deformation patterns, trigger mechanisms, acceleration and stabilising factors, data analyses and ways of interpretation. The investigation and analytical methods presented can be used as a basis to obtain sound prognoses and to efficiently plan suitable monitoring, mitigation and protection measures.
