WS5.10. IONM in Asia-Oceania: Current Status and Vision

A demand for intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) during various neurosurgical procedures is increasing rapidly in Asian-Oceanian region. Therefore, IONM- related local organizations have been established in several countries and doing their academic activities in this field. Also, Asian-Oceanian Society of Intraoperative Neurophysiology (AOSIN) was first established in 2018 for the purpose of education and dissemination of knowledge of IONM in this region, and has held its annual congress since then. This talk will be specifically focused on a review of the current status of IONM in this region and visions of AOSIN.
