Method and device of determining background shot

The invention provides a method and a device of determining a background shot. The method comprises steps that seismic data of a to-be-tested single shot is acquired; proximity arrangement data is selected from the seismic data; the theoretical first arrival time of the various channels of the proximity data is determined; sampling point positions corresponding to the positions of the various channels in the proximity arrangement data are determined according to the theoretical first arrival time of the various channels; according to a sum of sampling points and sampling value points corresponding to the positions of the channels in the proximity arrangement data, the energies of the various channels are determined; whether the to-be-tested single shot is the background shot is determined according to the comparison between the energies of the various channels and proportions in the proximity arrangement channel numbers. Technical problems of a conventional way of determining the background shot by printing and monitoring playback records such as time consumption and low efficiency are solved, and therefore a technical effect of identifying the background shot conveniently and quickly is achieved.
