Water Environment Status of Drinking Water Source in Southwest Region and Countermeasures of Protection

Through the analysis of pollution index in the southwest city,the writer finds serious pollution of nitrogen,phosphorus and chemical oxygen demand.Small and medium-sized water environment are mainly polluted by domestic sewage,agricultural non-point sources pollution from livestock and poultry,which indicates the monitoring and management of city water environment does not work well.Thus the writer puts forward some countermeasures of protecting drinking water source such as point source control,agricultural non-point source,soil erosion control project,water conservation,ecological protection.
