Electrical network for under- and over-water vehicles such. As naval ships and offshore installations

2002
An electrical network for under- and over-water vehicles such. B. naval vessels, and for offshore facilities is embodied as an electric board and / or driving power from AC, DC or AC and DC systems and has electric power generation units, distribution installations and load units. In order to avoid voltage drops in the short circuit case, it is proposed that the electric network (1) current-limiting devices which are constructed as HTSL current limiter (11) and / or semiconductor switches (25) are formed and by means of which the reaction of voltage dips in the case of short circuit on unaffected network parts a period of time in the low range of milliseconds, in particular <1 ms, can be limited and so that such voltage dips on each affected power supply are limitable.
