A MEASUREMENT OF THE HALL EFFECT IN METAL FREE PHTHALOCYANINE.
1966
Abstract : The Hall Effect was measured in a metal free phthalocyanine crystal in the b direction over the temperature range 46C to -6C, using a differential detection technique. The observed Hall constant was negative in sign, and its temperature dependence indicated that the band theory rather than a phonon assisted hopping mechanism should be considered to describe the electrical conduction in this direction. A passive four terminal model which facilitates the compensation for detector loading in the Hall effect measurements on highly resistive samples is proposed. (Author)
