在偏振光实验中,测得出射偏振光强与偏振片旋转角的关系曲线为闭合8字型。本文提出了一种新型的旋转检偏技术,对旋转检偏技术给出理论分析和计算,并应用于电光效应实验中。在电光效应实验中,出射光的偏振特性与施加于电光晶体的电压,晶体与偏振片的摆放位置有关。在实验中采用BBO电光晶体,半波电压约1200 V,实验结果和理论分析吻合,并且从实验结果定出未知晶体的光轴的取向。 We developed innovative polarization analyzer and used it in the photoelectric effect experiment. We give a detailed analysis of innovative rotating polarization analyzer, and calculate the distribution curves of the emergent intensity of emitting light. The analyzer was rotated by a mini-motor and polarization beam was returned to electric signal then to a computer by a photoelectric behind it. A BBO crystal was used and its 1/4 wave voltage is about 1200 V. The experimental and simulated results are in good agreement with each other and show that this method is effective. A key point is that we can determine the orientation of the light axis of a crystal.
