AFLP maps and QTL analysis of starch content of sweet potato.

F1 population was obtained from the cross of Mianfen No.1 and Hongqi No.4.A selected subpopulation including 22 plants for each high and low starch content was used in genetic mapping and quantitative trait loci(QTL) analysis using amplified fragment length polymorphic(AFLP) markers.Twenty linkage groups(10 female linkage groups,10 male linkage groups) based on 130 AFLP markers were reconstructed.One QTL in the 2st linkage groups of Mianfen No.1 genetic map were detected.The E1M7-2L was the starch content increase QTL.
