Ultra-narrow line filters with enhanced transmittance for low-frequency Raman spectroscopy

Volume Bragg grating based notch filters extend Raman spectroscopy in THz-frequency range, as low as 4 cm −1 . Recent advances in the technology enabled filters for visible region with high OD and losses below 5–10%.
