Rational and sustainable plans will emphasise shared meals, strengthen social coherence, valorise established cultures, multiply local agriculture and food systems, protect rural and urban livelihoods, increase all forms of diversity, cleanse land, air and water, and reduce the burden the human species imposes on the physical world and the biosphere.
