Research on the Development Process of New Chinese Sports Science and Education Film(From 1949 to 1995)

Through using the method of literature review,this paper firstly introduces the development of the sports science and education films before the founding of new China,and the first sports science and education film and its initial development and analyzes the history of the new Chinese sports science and education films.It is divided into four periods:the born winding development period(1949—1966),stagnant period(1966—1976),resume glory period(1976—1993)and marketization period(1993—1995).The background and characteristics of each period is explored.The research mainly focus on the born winding development period and resume glory period,introduce its contents,photography recording development,awards and impacts on sports.By analyzing,it concludes that two periods which from 1956 to 1966 and from 1980 to 1990 are the high developments of the new Chinese sports science and education films.Finally,other forms of sports science and education films,such as sports science and education TV,VCD and videos are introduced.The two sports science and education TV program for Beijing Olympic Games are analyzed.
