Amoris Laetitia, An Exhortation inspired by the Word of God

From its first chapter, the Exhortation brings light to Scriptures and invites one to consider the Word of God as “a travel companion”. Indeed, the text unfolds under the inspiration of the Word of God which is at times commented in minute detail, and at others presented more generally as the place of divine wisdom’s revelation which the Church is commanded to safeguard through its pastoral. Thus, the Scriptures’ pedagogical function is revealed as a discerning principle that takes into account the complexity of intimate relationships and the extensive time it may take for them to grow, but also the unconditional and boundless love that’s capable of accepting weakness.
