Treatment of Class II Malocclusion Using Quad Helix Appliance - A Case Report

2011
This case report describes the anteroposterior changes occurred in Class II Div 1 malocclusion by using quad helix appliance with 5° ANB difference. Results showed that there is marked correction in ANB angle by using Quad helix appliance for slow maxillary expansion. The superimposition of tracings suggests that much of the treatment effect occurs in saggital direction. Skeletal Class II correction with Quad helix is found to be stable.
