Nanomaterials for CO2 capture

Abstract Due to the massive application of machinery in industries, the demand for electricity is increasing day by day with an outcome of the huge emission of greenhouse gases through the power generation sectors. This is predicted to turn worse in the near future due to the rapid increase of population and industrialization. In this regard, capturing CO2 and transforming it into suitable biofuels through chemical reduction may be a desirable option to solve the environmental disturbance and energy. This chapter deals with a critical review of effective ways of using nanomaterials for capturing CO2.
