Effect of rice straw mulching on migration and transportation of Cd, Cu, Zn, and Ni in surface runoff under simulated rainfall

Purpose Heavy metals in runoff from contaminated land are becoming a major environmental problem. The presented paper considers the effects of mulching with rice straw on the migration and transportation of heavy metals from the soil into runoff under conditions of simulated rainfall.
