Polymetallic Pollution in Sentinel Bivalves Across a Semi-open Area: La Rochelle Harbor, France

Abstract: Currently, the assessment of pollutants’ impact on the environment is one of the main objectives worldwide. The second objective is to reach a good chemical and ecological status for marine coastlines. In port areas, marine sediments are often contaminated. They thus pose several problems which have an impact on the marine ecosystem after their immersion in the sea following dredging works.
