Ev maket expansion based on BASS model

The popularization of electric vehicle (EV), which will be significant in reducing vehicle emission and easing the excessive consumption of oil resources on traffic and transport, is a key solution for the current transport energy and environmental problems. In this paper, the target market of EV is defined based on the analysis of technical and economic characteristics of EV. Through a comparative analysis on the traditional vehicles and EV, a forecast model based on BASS is developed to study the market expansion of EV in different fields. Finally, this model is adopted to investigate the expansion of EV in Shanghai.
