Objective: This study aimed to describe the profile of sponsored violence, the aggressor and the victim. Methods: Cross-sectional study with a random sample of 840 cases of 3926 cases of Guardianship Councils Fortaleza - CE 2011. Examination using percentages. Followed the ethical principles of Resolution 196/96. Results: Characteristics of Violence: Evidenced high prevalence of domestic and psychological violence. No anonymous complaints mostly by people from the community or family. Characteristics of the victim: Children were more victimized than adolescents, mostly female. 12.56% make use of some drugs. Characteristics of the offender: The abuser in most cases is the mother or father. 34.36% are drug users. 34.49% chemical used during the assault. High previous history of promoting attack as well as abused. Conclusion: Data showing violence as problematic multifactorial help prevent violence and intend dialogue between the Statute of Children and Adolescents and health system so that there is mutual responsibility for implementation of public policies in the area of childhood and adolescence.
