The regional cost of biomass direct combustion power generation in China and development potential analysis.

Knowing the prior development areas of Biomass Direct Combustion Power Generation Project(BDCPGP) is the key step to carry out the national biomass mid-long term development plan.Taking the 25 MW straw direct combustion power plant as an example,the research analyzed the provincial generation cost of BDCPGP in China by means of an optimized method.The conclusion reveals that the generation cost of BDCPGP in the middle and the northeast parts of China is at the middle level and the straw resources there are abundant;thus these regions have great potential for large-scale development of BDCPGP.On the other hand,the maturity of technology and the establishment of the Carbon release charging policy will increase the economic performance of BDCPGP,which can promote its development.
