Force Sensorless Control for Aircraft Electromechanical Brake System

The reliability of force sensor in high-temperature and high-pressure environment for aircraft Electro-mechanical brake system is greatly reduced, a new force sensorless control strategy is proposed to realize the fusion estimation of braking force and improve the reliability of Electro-mechanical brake system. In this paper, a mechanical model of Electro-mechanical Actuator (EMA) is established to form the Electro-mechanical brake system model, together with dynamics model of aircraft. The simulation results verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the force sensorless control strategy for the Electro-mechanical brake system.
