Given that work is considered a right for people and a social duty of the State; The Constitution guarantees the protection of the workers' rights, and that the current legal regulations in Ecuador have gradually adjusted to reality, for which constitutional principles and guarantees that regulate labor law have been adapted. This research focuses on occasional service contracts, which due to their duration do not generate job stability, with the aim of proposing a project to reform article 229 of the Constitution of the Republic to guarantee job security for public servants.
