The invention discloses a crane and an operation method and system for supporting legs of the crane. The operation system for the supporting legs comprises a first supporting leg operation device and a second supporting leg operation device. The first supporting leg operation device and the second supporting leg operation device are connected in a data communication mode through communication interfaces. The first supporting leg operation device comprises first switch control equipment which receives first control signals input by an operator. The second supporting leg operation device comprises second switch control equipment and a controller, wherein the second switch control equipment receives second control signals input by the operator, and the controller controls the supporting legs of the crane to stretch out and draw back according to the first control signals and/or the second control signals. The operation devices for the left and right supporting legs are connected through a communication line, so that much complex line connection between a rocker switch and all elements is omitted, and the reliability of the system is greatly improved.
