Ethical reflection on the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). Discusses the progress of technological development, since its rise in modern society to the present day, showing the impact of ICT in daily life. Based in the bibliographical and documentary research, the paper aims to provide reflections on the need for ethics in the use of ICT in order, the development of human beings, society and nature. Examines the human social relations, through the changes of space and time, motivated by the speed technology, noting that the immediacy and ephemerality are influencing in some way, human behavior. The results show that the inclusion of ICT in everyday social life of individuals is presented in the most part, devoid of a critical perspective that promotes a rethinking of its role for the exercise of citizenship and social welfare. As conclusion, emphasizes the need for an ethical use of technologies in order to review its role in society as an alternative for social improvement.
