Study of Algorithms on Crystal Oscillators Characters Segmentation

The automation has been largely enhanced on crystal oscillators assembly-line using machine vision technique.Crystal oscillators location,characters segmentation and recognition is needed to study for new inspection requirement.This paper focuses on location and segmentation,the top-bottom contour difference is used to solve characters conglutination segmentation.It is proved by the experiments that the algorithms can satisfy the characters recognition requirements.
