A new polyniobotungstate based on {GeW9Nb3O40} clusters and nickel cation with photocatalytic properties

Abstract A new polyniobotungstate, Cs11K7[(Ge4W36Nb12O156)Ni(H2O)2]·29H2O (1) based on {GeW9Nb3O40} fundamental building units, was successfully obtained. Photocatalytic study has shown that 1 has efficient photocatalytic water splitting activity.
