Antenna Array Output Power Minimization Using Particle Swarm Optimization

2019
This paper investigates the use of Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) to an antenna system to minimize an output power. The antenna system consists of a 2x2 antenna array and phase shifters which are controlled by a microcontroller. PSO algorithm is implemented to choose the best setup of the four phase shifters to null the high-power signals (jammers) and allow reception of the desired signals.
