Relay OFDMA resource allocation methods for wireless monitoring sensor networks (WMSNs)

This paper focuses on the wireless monitoring sensor networks (WMSNs), where provide relay connectivity for the low capacity and power devices to monitor or sense the events in a monitoring area. In this paper, we propose the relay OFDMA resource allocation methods of coloring resource allocation, static resource allocation and dynamic resource allocation to improve the finite resource of time and frequency. Moreover, this paper studies the performance of the proposed resource allocations in terms of the throughput and delay. Based on the simulation studies, the combination of the coloring and dynamic resource allocation methods provides the superior performance of the throughput and delay for the WMSNs.
