Research on the Teaching Practice of the Mathematics Course for Skilled Undergraduates in Applied Colleges

2021
Skills college entrance examination provides opportunities for secondary vocational students to enter undergraduate colleges, but secondary vocational students have his mathematics knowledge can't meet the learning needs of higher mathematics in undergraduate colleges. Which affects the subsequent professional courses, especially the science and engineering studies. In order to give full play to the advantages of secondary vocational students' strong hands-on ability and weaken their weak theoretical knowledge, this study selected an undergraduate college in Wuhan City, Hubei Province who enrolled students from 2014 to 2020, 5 majors, and a total of 675 skills. Undergraduate students are the research objects, using questionnaires and interviews with teachers to study the mathematics learning ability and learning effects of skilled undergraduates. On the one hand, it is necessary to link up the content of basic mathematics learning for secondary vocational students to serve the learning of advanced mathematics and professional courses. On the other hand, teachers need to change the teaching method. The mathematics teaching of skilled undergraduates is mainly applied to guide students a teaching model for outputting mathematical knowledge. Starting from the actual situation of secondary vocational students, this research has done research on the content of cohesion, teaching methods, training ability and so on.
