SIMULTANEOUS ESTIMATION OF NEBIVOLOL HYDROCHLORIDE AND HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE IN A TABLET USING REVERSE PHASE HIGH PERFORMANCE LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPHY

A Simple, efficient and reproducible method for the simultaneous determination of Nebivolol Hydrochloride and Hydrochlorothiazide from tablets has been developed using reversed phase high performance liquid chromatography. The separation was done using a mobile phase consisting of methanol and water (80:20 % V/V). Column used was chromacil C 18 (250 X 4 mm internal diameter) 5 i with flow rate of 1.6 ml/min. The detection wavelength used was 286 nm. An elution order was Hydrochlorothiazide (1.64 min) and Nebivolol hydrochloride (3.67 min). The linear dynamic range was 5-70 ig/ml for both the drugs. Analytical parameters were calculated and a full statistical evaluation included.
