Screenless Lithography and Orthophotomaps

1978
AbstractThe development of photomaps and orthophotomaps has created renewed interest in methods of reproducing in print the continuous tone image of the aerial photograph without using a half-tone screen. The methods are briefly reviewed, and the development of screenless lithographic printing is outlined. Examples of orthophotomap images reproduced by a new screenless lithographic plate process accompany this article.
