AQUACULTURE IN THE GLOBAL INFORMATION WORLD

Intensive development of the aquaculture ensures the solution to major social problems. Results of the innovative developments, which favor the aquaculture development, are usually patented by the universities, state research organizations and private enterprises. The patents, databases, know-how make it possible to gain financial profits from new scientific and technical results, favor the information exchange, the further investments in the research and development and the useful application of new knowledge. The issues of retrieval, formalization and further use of the intellectual property are considered within the global information environment making it possible to carry out the scientific and technical and patent retrieval efficiently. A group of the cluster ―chains‖ (breeding and feeding of the fish – monitoring of theichthyological-pathological prosperity - receiving of the food products, extracts for the biologically active supplements,etc),through traceability of the consumer propertiesat all the stages of thetechnological process,produces thepredictability and an additional effect in implementing theinnovations.The article usesvarioussearch systems, a research tool and an outcome of whichbecame thepatentinformation retrievaland the formalizedintellectual propertyin several aquaculture areas: the feed, the parasitology, the foodfish andcaviar products,and as the raw-materials basefor manufacturing thesubstancesand the preparations for theregenerative medicine, the cosmetology and other health-saving purposes.
