Subsidiarity of Lactic Acid on Paecilomyces lilacinus to Control Root-knot Nematode

2011
In order to enhance the colonization rate in the soil and the control effect on the root-knot nematode of Paecilomyces lilacinus, lactic acid was added into the Paecilomyces lilacinus preparation. The laboratory experiment indicated that lactic acid could enhance the larva-killed and egg-inhabited effects of Paecilomyces lilacinus on root-knot nematode. The effects increased with the increase of lactic acid concentration.Lactic acid could increase the colonization rate of Paecilomyces lilacinus. The pot experiment showed that the control effect of the treatment with Paecilomyces lilacinus and 0.2% lactic acid was better than that of the treatment with only lactic acid or Paecilomyces lilacinus.
