First record of the eastern Asiatic gobionid fish Pseudorasbora parva from the Asiatic part of Turkey

Pseudorasbora parva is recorded for the first time from southern Anatolia, the Asiatic part of Turkey. Its presence at three locations in the main course of the Aksu River is probably due to involuntary introduction with common carp.
