ACO enhanced RILoD-IN scheme for WSN

2020
Energy conservation and lifetime improvement are one of the most critical factors in WSN. Although various routing and optimization techniques are proposed to date, the problem remains unsolved. To improve the lifetime of a WSN, isolated nodes should be used effectively and some of the algorithms like RIN and LECRAD that consider isolated nodes but doesn’t keep the full stop for isolated nodes. So, to improve lifetime and facilitate the data transfer process in Wireless Sensor Network, the introduction of ACO enhanced RILoD-IN algorithm is put forward for a wireless sensor network. It takes into account both isolated nodes and the dumb nodes. In this context, an isolated node or a dumb node can send its data to the parent node or sink directly through the mobile mule in the shortest path. From the simulation results of the proposed scheme, 19% of data loss protection has been achieved along with a 100% success probability.
