The Caves of Batu Caves: a Toponymic Revision

The caves from Batu Caves, Selangor, are reviewed. A total of 20 caves are recognised.  Four of these caves contain a system of connected chambers that are large enough to be recognised in their own right (17 such chambers are recognised).  Several new synonyms are recognised and minor alterations are made in the names of four caves.  For the main entrance and significant skylights of each cave a unique name and geographic coordinates are given.  A map of the whole hill is produced showing the location of the caves, skylights and external climbing walls.
