Preparation, fluorescence and energy transfer mechanism of Eu3+-Sm3+ Co-doped glass ceramic containing NaLa(MoO4)2

2021
Abstract A series of Sm3+ doped and Sm3+-Eu3+ co-doped glass ceramic samples were successfully prepared. With the increase of Eu3+ concentration, the emission intensity of Sm3+ decreased, and the trend of Eu3+ increased first and then decreased, indicating that there is energy transfer from Sm3+ to Eu3+, which can be further confirmed via the gradual decrease of the fluorescence lifetime value of Sm3+, and the energy transfer efficiency for 1.0%Sm3+-1.4%Eu3+ was 43%. The chromaticity coordinate of 1.0%Sm3+-1.4%Eu3+ is (0.6446, 0.3550) excited at 394 nm, and the color purity can reach 90.1%.
