Antigen-antibody reactions on surfaces. Orientation and environmental effects
1990
Summary The antigen-antibody reactions occurring at interfaces present several differences for homologous reactions in solution. Firstly, we observed an affinity enhancement due to the formation of ring structures on the interface; the other effects are tangential movements which favour (on cells) or hamper (on plastic) the accessibility of partners.
