Modeling of radial dependence of Fe/O elemental abundance ratio in mixed SEP events with the PATH code

We use the Particle Acceleration and Transport in the Heliosphere (PATH) code to simulate elemental abundance ratio Fe/O in SEP events. Separate cases of different seed particle populations: solar wind suprathermals and particles pre-accelerated at a flare site are considered. We show the evolution of the Fe/O ratio with time at heliocentric distances from 0.5 to 2 AU.
