The Power of Design-based Research to Promote Academic Integrity

An online academic integrity tutorial was developed for graduate students in a Faculty of Education in a university in Western Canada. The purpose of the poster session is to provide an overview of the initial stages of the design process guided by the principles of Design-based research (DBR). Each phase of the design process are described in terms of the data collected and how that was used to inform the creation and piloting of the online academic integrity tutorial. Further, implications of the design process for future research are discussed.
