On advanced productive forces and their modern characteristics

2004
Advanced productive forces are classified into advanced types of two levels: one taking the lead in the world and another taking the lead in a local area. Advanced productive forces are generally characterized by timeliness, extensibility, self-improvement and the development by leaps and bounds. Besides, modern advanced productive forces make knowledge from internalized towards externalized, and internalized knowledge is inclined to comprehensiveness. And what is more, the transference of the subject of productive forces is also one of the characteristics. The prerequisites of advanced productive forces mainly are the requirement of the development of science and technology and the realization of the value of science and technology. The key to this question lies in the system of organization and policy, the retaining of creative talent, and the circumstances and conditions for scientific researches.
